As you have read in our Calendar of Activities referenced below you know our daughter is moving back to Idaho. After 25 years of living in Texas, she is ready to get out of the Texas summer heat and back to the Idaho winter cold! 🤣

This move means getting our house ready to sell. The old, steel shed in the back yard needed improvements. It was functional but unsightly. It needed a fresh coat of paint. After 5 years of SOWER projects, we felt very qualified to tackle this project! 😄

We needed a cool day (but not too cool, and little to no wind to paint the shed. Last Wednesday and Thursday had cold rainy weather. Sunday (today) was to have poor weather with a potentially nasty storm moving in. Saturday was forecast to be (hopefully) the right conditions. And it was!

We loaded up Salomé and paint supplies, drove the 100+ miles to her home, and got to work. Thankfully, we made short work of the project and even had time to enjoy one of our favorite Cinnaholic cinnamon rolls with coffee in the afternoon before heading home. Salomé had fun visiting and romping her littermate, Oakley!

We’re getting ready for another busy week at the SOWER office. A new group of SOWERs will arrive in a few days to join those already here to continue work on the new building. Things are moving right along! 🤠🤗

This week’s Blessings, Prayer Requests, and Schedule are here.
