Back in the Saddle

We were in the SOWER office last November to maintain our skills and knowledge base regarding the office operation. We were also able to assist with the construction of our new SOWER meeting building/ apartment when needed. I’ve included pictures below showing the status from our November 2023 folder.

Much has been completed on the new building and it is great to see the progress. We have a new team of SOWERs here to move the building project along. We’ll probably not be needed to help them this month which is good because we will be quite busy in the office!

We’re so thankful for the time to get our things caught up this past week. We were able to pull the trailer into an inspection station on the way to the office for its annual safety inspection required for re-registration. The inspection station is only a couple miles from the office and while there we learned they could change the oil in our truck. The next day the oil got changed!

Last month we realized our animals were due for their shots. There is an excellent vet within a few miles that gave Salomé some of her puppy shots last year. We decided that because we would be here for several months we would just take them there. So that task was easily checked off our list, along with Salomé’s monthly grooming (which we do ourselves).

Hopefully, with all these things out of the way, we will be able to more fully devote ourselves to getting back up to speed in the office. The couple we are relieving is due for a well-deserved break and we don’t want to delay that very long! 🤠🤗

This week’s Blessings, Prayer Requests, and Schedule are here.

Don’t forget to check out more of our pictures here. Please note that if you receive this post as an email, the header picture may not be included. It would be best if you went to either our blog here, or view it in the link above with more of our pictures.
