“That is why a man leaves his father and mother and unites with his wife,
and they become one family.”
At the end of the February project month, we packed up our home and headed back to Princeton, TX. What a blessing to be able to attend and participate in our only granddaughter’s wedding! As grandparents, we were able to help where needed and enjoyed the special time we had with our daughter and her family.
The day after the wedding, we traveled back to Calvary Commission in Lindale, TX to continue our work on their Cedar Valley guest house. Last week we finished repairing and caulking the exterior in preparation for pressure washing and painting. We’ll tackle that on Monday! We hope that the two of us can finish this in the next two weeks. (If it rains, we have 32 curtains to shorten!!)
While working on a SOWER project we never seem to lack things to do! Visiting SOWER friends with whom we’ve worked in the past and giving our furry travel companions haircuts kept us busy this weekend! We sometimes wonder about our sanity in getting a puppy at this stage of our lives but, with a lot of diligent puppy training, Salome is turning into a sweet dog.
We look forward to nice, cooler weather next week. It will hopefully make good painting weather. Please pray for our safety as we paint those upper portions of the house! 🤠🤗
