“And God is able to make all grace overflow to you
so that because you have enough of everything in every way at all times,
you will overflow in every good work.”
(2 Corinthians 9:8, NET)
I (Bruce) read the above verse this Sunday morning during my daily devotions. I realized that we can only give away what we have received. Since returning from E. Asia our Heavenly Father has been most gracious in providing for us in amazing ways!
He has kept us healthy during the pandemic. He has kept us safe as we have pulled our trailer almost 30,000 miles to different SOWER ministry projects around the USA. He has provided the needed tools and experienced people with whom to work to further the mission of these ministries. All this has been done through His enabling.
The Apostle Paul learned during his life to be content in any circumstance through his total trust in his Provider (Phil 4:11-13). We too have learned that if we want to give, we can do so in total dependence on our Provider. We want to continue to give and eagerly look for ways in which we can be a blessing and assist both the project ministries where we work and our fellow SOWERs.
This month we are working to restore the siding on the front of The Cottage at Lake Lavon. This small building is often used for small group retreats and has been a favorite for many who have come here for spiritual refreshment. We want to restore The Cottage so that it can once again be used for those special times to get away with God. People come to be filled so they can in turn overflow in their good works for others.
What a blessing to participate in a small way in others’ lives! Thank each and every one of you for your support of our work, for you are also participating in giving away these blessings! 🤠🤗
