“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own understanding.
Acknowledge him in all your ways,
and he will make your paths straight.”
(Proverbs 3:5–6)
A friend recently asked: “Now that you’ve traveled to and slept in all the lower 48 states in your home-on-wheels, have you found the place to live when you decide to come off the road?” That is a great question! 😄
When we were with the biking ministry in the mid-90s we peddled our tandem bike through many of these same states. At that time we were able to experience this beautiful country at a much slower pace. We were often asked where was our favorite place. We learned one thing then, and it has been reinforced: every place we’ve visited and traveled through is His creation and has its own beauty.
The terrain varies considerably across this great nation. From the wide open spaces of the West to the vast wooded land in the East. From the magnificently high Rocky Mountains to the rolling hills of the Ozark Mountains there is really no comparison, they are so different. There is no way we can pick “the best” location. They are all amazing.
The answer to the question our friend asked is contained in a quote another friend recently posted and is seen in the image above. For now, we are trying to remain patient and not try to answer questions that lie in the future. Our goal is to enjoy today and let Him reveal His plan for our tomorrow in His time. 🤠🤗
