To God’s Glory

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do,

do everything for the glory of God.”

(1 Corinthians 10:31, NET)

As I (Bruce) was trying to paint the trim on Lake Lavon Camp’s original building, it struck me: “I never thought that at 67 years of age I would be painting houses and doing it for free!” But yet, that is what we are called to do, for now.

We were in E. Asia for a total of 17 years. Throughout our time there, people frequently asked us, “How long will you stay here?” and we would tell them, “Until God closes the door.” It is interesting that we are now being asked a similar question: “How long will you live in your RV and travel?” and we have the same answer: “Until God closes the door.”

I committed to seeking God’s will to do whatever, whenever, and wherever. That commitment has taken us into full-time ministry on the back of a tandem bike, teaching English and training in the Good Book overseas, and now serving Him by helping to maintain Christian retreat centers and camps. Some say we are “RV’ing with a purpose!” 😄

Paul’s command that whatever we do is to be done to God’s glory means that whether I am painting buildings, or building trash can enclosures, or hanging curtains, I will do that to His glory! And when we look up, it is often quite easy to see His glory displayed in the heavens. 🤠 🤗

This week’s Blessings, Prayer Requests, and Schedule are here.

Great to see the latest news on you two! Glad you are still able to paint those building “for free”!! We gave up painting and let the pros do it at our house. Things continue to go well here and we are grateful!
    Thanking the Lord for you!
