“He said to them,
‘Come with me privately to an isolated place and rest a while’
(Mark 6:31, NET)
The mighty Missouri River begins at the confluence of the Gallatin, Madison, and Jefferson Rivers. And that is where we chose to spend a quiet weekend camping with Katie’s sister and brother-in-law. Although Friday we did do some exploring around Bozeman, MT area, the rest of the weekend was just spent biking, reading, and relaxing near the little town of Three Forks, MT. Relaxing is something we’ve done little of these past two years!
But, this trip north to MT was all too short. We returned Monday afternoon to Smith RV in Idaho Falls to have the bedroom slide mechanism repaired. It is scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday) and hopefully will not take too long to repair. Our dog, Lucky, will have a tumor removed from his eyelid tomorrow as well.
We have permission to remain here at the dealership until July 1. Then, we will move to a campground in Rigby. We will stay there until a site is available at our favorite Idaho spot in Shelley, ID on Sunday. Our having to move around is the result of literally millions of folks traveling in their RV’s this summer. KOA (Kampgrounds of America) estimates 53 million people will be camping this weekend alone! We are thankful that we’ve been able to find places to stay while here in Idaho!
We are looking forward to spending time with our son and his family, along with Katie’s sister’s family over the next few weeks! 🤠 🤗
This week’s Blessings, Prayer Requests, and Schedule are here.
