Our time at Lake Lavon Camp is quickly coming to a close. And we are rapidly closing in on the end of a remarkable year with the SOWER ministry (https://sowerministry.org)! We were able to help eleven ministries from TX to AZ to ID to WA to SD to WI to OK and back to TX!
We learned new carpentry and framing skills and how to drive some heavy equipment, worked on wiring problems, painted, stained, built, as well as prepped metal and welded. Katie also sewed, cleaned, cooked, and helped with various housekeeping projects. We were never without something to do!
We had wonderful times of fellowship with many new SOWER friends. We also worked with a few folks we’d worked with before. That was a huge blessing to renew those friendships!
We hope and pray y’all have a wonderful Christmas, remembering the One for Whom we celebrate this time of year! 🤠🤗
