Keeping Life Level

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

(Psalm 119:105, ESV)

We have had a blessed trip thus far from Danforth, ME to North East, MD, and the Sandy Cove Ministry. We’ve enjoyed seeing each of the small New England states and staying at unique places in our home-on-wheels!

But, sometimes events can cause one to be a little out of level, as we found when we pulled into our site at Sandy Cove. It was barely long enough for our trailer and quite out of level, front to back as you can see in the picture above. We don’t like to block things up as radically as we did!

But, we had the tools to achieve the levelness needed for comfort and for safely running the refrigerator. It reminded Bruce that we also have a tool for keeping our life level: God’s word to us.

As the verse above notes, His word is a light to guide our path. Even when life seems out of level or we are traveling an un-level road, His word will guide us as needed. All we have to do is read it!

Tomorrow, we will be on the road again as we wind our way down to Lynchburg, VA to visit friends from our former sending church. We will also add one more state to those we’ve made our home in as we’ve traveled for our work with the SOWER ministry! After tomorrow we will have slept in our home in 47 of the lower 48 states! Please pray for our safety as the weather is forecast to be a little rainy.  🤠🤗

This week’s Blessings, Prayer Requests, and Schedule are here.
