Between Projects

“Oil and perfume make the heart glad,  

So a man’s counsel is sweet to his friend.” 

(Proverbs 27:9, NASB95)

Thankfully, the weather and temperatures cooperated and allowed primer and final paint coats to dry in time to install the bookshelf units at Hope House. Getting shelf space for the girls was a high-priority job for Donnalee, and we so wanted to get it completed for them. (See image below.) This week the girls will begin sorting and putting their books in the new units!

Today (Tuesday) finds us once again at our favorite boondocking place, nestled under the trees on the farm in Pasco, WA. Spring is such a beautiful time of year as all around us is the reminder of God’s creation and making all things new. However, it’s not the location that brings us here each year, but our friends. We so enjoy visiting with them and especially learning about living life together, just as Solomon wrote: “As iron sharpens iron, so a person sharpens his friend.” (Pro 27:17 NET).

Life is a journey. It is helpful to share that journey with others. What have we learned along the way that has helped us, kept us spiritually healthy, and pointed towards Him? It is through this fellowship that we grow “Along the Walk” and answer these questions together! We are thankful for the opportunity to visit and share our life’s journey with our dear friends!

Thursday, we head to Lake Retreat Camp, get set up for our next project there, and meet new SOWER friends. We have no idea what we will be doing, but we are sure it will once again be interesting! 🤠 🤗
